Now, we’re bringing that expertise to Moda Network Academy, an exclusive one-week program in New York City that immerses college students in the realities of the fashion world. Our mission is simple: to provide future fashion talent with real-world exposure, direct industry access, and the tools to confidently pursue a career in fashion.
MEET MELISSA
Melissa Moylan is a recognized expert in trend forecasting with over 20 years of experience in New York City, Paris, and Los Angeles. She previously served as VP and Creative Director at Future Snoops, where she led global womenswear strategy across runway, trade shows, and retail. Her career spans merchandising, product development, and branding, with a focus on translating early concepts into commercially viable fashion narratives.
Melissa has presented at major global tradeshows such as MAGIC Las Vegas and Tranoï Paris, and has been a guest speaker at colleges including Parsons School of Design and FIT. She has held senior merchandising positions and contributes to international branding and consulting projects. Her insights have been featured in publications including WWD, Wall Street Journal, and Entrepreneur Magazine.
This summer, she will serve as a Fashion Instructor for a pre-college program hosted at Pepperdine University in Malibu. At Moda Network Academy, Melissa brings her industry expertise and passion for mentorship to guide students through hands-on workshops, insider perspectives, and meaningful career connection. A proud graduate of FIT, she is committed to supporting the next generation of fashion professionals.
MEET FILIP
Filip Lazaroski is a multifaceted fashion expert with over 20 years of experience across Visual Merchandising, Project Management, Merchandising, and Sales. He has held key roles at prestigious fashion houses including Marni, Isabel Marant, Ulla Johnson, and Theory, where he currently serves as Visual Merchandising Manager. With a deep understanding of both creative presentation and operational execution, Filip brings a uniquely holistic view of the fashion industry.
Known for his sharp eye and thoughtful approach, Filip's work has been featured in publications such as Vogue and WWD. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he is a self-described fashion nerd with a rich knowledge of art history that informs his work and teaching style.
At Moda Network Academy, Filip combines industry expertise with his passion for mentorship, offering students firsthand insight into how brands connect vision to reality through visual storytelling and retail strategy. He is a proud FIT alumnus.
